Listening 2004
'Our Bodies are Not Our Own' - United for Life's response to the Bishops consultation of the laity on marriage and family life entitled: Listening 2004.
By September 2004 all the RC Bishops of England & Wales were sent a copy of 'Our bodies are not our own'.
To date we are not aware of any action taken by the bishops as a consequence of the issues raised in this document. In addition to 'Our bodies are not our own', we povide three photographs in PDF format of Marriage Care's information stand at the Churches Together Penticost 2000 event (P2K) held at Cheltenham racecourse. The Photographs show a poster offering a range of contraceptive options under the heading 'Understanding fertility and family planning choice' which include sterilisation, IUD, hormonal contraception and condoms.
